My very first duck hunt went as followed.
Slept over at my friends house on the couch. The couch had this horrible bar that landed perfectly on the lower back. Hardly slept. Got up at 3AM. Drove about 1.5 hours to our place. It was about 25 degrees that morning and all the water was frozen over with about 3/4 inch ice. Had to wade through that to get to our area. Once there, I started to get really really cold because I can't ever get my damn feet warm even with 1200 plus thinsulate. Come shooting time, not a single damn duck passes over. We eventually started shooting the ice because of boredom.
