Nurse same thing happened to me before I moved into my own new house. The rental home I was in for 3.5 years was old and outdated the new property management wanted to raise my rent 200.00 because the area value was increasing. I said frick that luckily I had built my credit back up after getting hammered after my divorce my new house payment now is 75.00 more than I would have been paying in that outdated old rental house I was in. Good luck.
