he seems to be a good 'CEO' type that can be a people person and put on a good face for the job, while others behind the scenes do the leg work.

Les just does not have the same fire anymore. he is no longer a risk-taker during games. remember he used to be called the Riverboat Gambler...

i think the Arkansas disaster proves that the college game has passed him by as a coach, but i have zero faith that Alleva can make a good hire.

He could be...hes a people person, likeable and all. Needs to work on his communication skills a wee bit I suspect though.

do you want an AD that is stubborn as frick? Les hires a coach and would refuse to fire him in a reasonable time. The talk of him being a good AD is insane.

This definitely crossed my mind mid season when things started to unravel at Mich. I think he may be a better fit in that roll, but who knows if he would even consider anything outside of coaching. I truly think the man loves his job.

Can you imagine the interview? You think the pressers are bad. Imagine trying to figure him out in that scenario

His history there would not allow him to be seriously considered for the HC position but you think it will not keep hm from being in charge of the ENTIRE athletic department? How so?
