re: Marc Curles will be one of the officials Saturday

I find it interesting to see that no game scores in history have been changed due to bad officiating--but wins have been taken away for other reasons. We can RANT and rave all day long and never get any satisfaction until we realize that life is more than sports--and, in the end, we have to learn to live with grace and forgiveness in order to not become bitter and angry. Bad officiating, bad coaching, bad weather, bad team play, and/or other factors are only part of the day's wages--it's how we deal with them that counts. Referees are humans and have limited capacity to be God, so we need to bear with them as such. What if EVERYONE (as fans) got their way on the field? That would result in total chaos--not just some confusion at times. We all need to play by the calls of the referees--no matter how good or bad--and stop complaining because our pride and ego control us. I have come to peace by giving up all rights to my way in this matter and accepting the outcome as out of my hands.
