No they don't, if you play you can't redshirt. If you play one snap you burn your year. A fifth year would require a medical hardship

Period.

Clifton Garrett

quote:

Garrett, a former five star prospect from Illinois, has played in two games - against New Mexico State and Louisiana-Monroe. LSU could file for a waiver to get Garrett a medical redshirt for this season. Players who have played in less than 30 percent of a team’s games and were injured in the first half of the season are eligible for medical redshirts.

And now we know why the nebulous "respiratory " issues aren't being further explained.

I have been asking for two months if this was a serious respiratory issue like HAE PID Or ALPHA1 antitrypsin Etc.

Granted, I asked the rant, but I wanted to gert he rants temperature on why beckwith doesn't have a backup that can ably spell him or come in post-injury.

The response is that we had linebackers leave due to academics, team rule vios etc.

But furthermore, the issue is talent acquisition.......if it's not that,
then it's talent eval.......if it's not that
then it's keeping your players in class and out of trouble.......if it's not that
then it's talent development.......if it's not that
then it's plain ole bad luck.....and I am so tired of hearing about bad luck.
