The whole news media "facts" - the Freeh Report, the NCAA and the blackmail to accept those ridiculous and unwarranted sanctions - was all utter dross.

Only total sheeple idiots ever believed the made-up cover-up story of Paterno perpetuated by media from the beginning.

Penn State is not suing the NCAA. There are certain groups suing the NCAA like Jay Paterno along with some former PSU players. I think the state of PA is also suing the NCAA.

Early on Penn State has made it clear it wants no part of these lawsuits but since they were named in the lawsuits they have to participate to some degree. As the information is coming out I think they may change their stance.

It was a perfect scenario for the NCAA to sling their slimy dicks all over the place without much backlash.

"Facts" were tough to come by. People either weren't willing to talk, and some of the ones that did changed stories or seemed sketchy. Plus the nature of the situation had the country fricking PISSED, and looking for blood.

PSU had 2 choices, let the NCAA hang them, or hang themselves.

That said, I don't really know enough to know if the NCAA did anything too, idk, wrong.
