Is Google trying to make some kind of statement with their Veteran's Day pic?

Two women out in front, 3 men in the background.

Multiculturalism has been the downfall of every society

Just general promotion of diversity.
I don't have a problem with that.
I don't think they are saying "women should be in frontlines that's why we put them in front"
That's reading a bit too much into it, imho.

People bitch about Google when they don't have an illustration on patriotic holidays, now they have one but the pic isn't good enough? Geez, people just like to bitch.

That isn't what I was saying. I was simply saying they obviously purposely put women out in front when the military 85% male to make a statement of some sort.
They didn't just include women in the picture as equals to their male counterparts. They made an effort to put the woman prominently out in front.

More white women with really long and thin necks and twisty arms in the Air Force apparently.

It is no secret that men are almost always going to check out a woman's arse when she is in front of them. Not much of a statement to be made there.

What agenda is that? That there are more than just white males in the military?
Maybe it was a female artist.
Who really gives a shite?

And what agenda is that?
Military women deserve to be honored just the same as men. I have no issue with women being depicted in the image, obviously.
It's just another attempt by Google to make a statement where it should be inappropriate to do so.

What you don't see easily is the Navy guy giving it to the Marine back there... they snuck in the gay part without much effort.
Circle is complete.
