Everyone's attitude and compassion on this post is great! I too would love to see AJ breakout and become a solid contributor. Of course he is putting his heart and soul into becoming a great QB for LSU.

But this is a tough and competitive world! If you can't cut it, you fall by the wayside! Only the elite players suceed in the end. There are a lot of disappointed QB's and other players who become heartbroken because they get benched. For AJ, the stats tell the story. Unless he is able to turn them around, he is a liability, not an asset to the team's ability to win. I keep hoping for improvement, but so far it hasn't happened. With an average QB performance against Bama, we win. The "D" was outstanding until the last drive. The "O" line was excellent. The RB's did their job.

This loss hurt!
