did you pay them state registration fees?
If so bring your reciept to a OMV/DMV and give it to them and explain the situation. They should issue at least a temp tag.
But if you paid your fees and they kept them then they are in trouble with the state. You coulod save and not even get a lawyer.
If you had a "handshake" agreement that they would pay the taxes and you get the plates, then more than likely you got hosed.
No plates before you pay the taxes. Did you pay the taxes? Then prove that to the state and get your plates.
