re: Looking for a small bay boat

They are micro skiffs that are really at home on the flats in Florida. It's highly debatable that they are worth the money in Louisiana. I've looked at them because I like to fly fish and like the open decks, but they just don't handle any sort of chop at all. They are similarly priced to larger, more V shaped bay boats that draft similar yet can handle chop much, much better. The micro's really are a one use only boat and most are $20k-$35k

Ankona is probably the lowest priced, yet still quality manufacturer.
