ETA, before someone says she was talking about the 1950's, she was extrapolating to the present, as explanation for her presently deteriorating campaign.

This is completely accurate. She even said that Republicans would try to twist this into her playing the race card. The most depressing thing is that they did it anyway, and it's likely to work.

Once again, Republicans play on the emotions of the ignorant. If conservatives would only recognize that both sides make and buy into emotional arguments, we'd all be be better off.
