what's the point of putting so much ice under the oysters when they're served?
always thought that was a waste of ice because they only sit on them for bout 5-10 minutes. looks good i guess and prevents them from sliding. maybe i answered my own question lol.

I'm with you. Two dozen oysters will be a starter for me. But, compare those prices and they'll be in line with others.
