I was not born into privilege and those motherfrickers locked the doors just to make sure I'd never get in. But, I've seen a crack in the window on the 4th floor. I'm working my way up there now to crash in.

No just tired of people's excuses. People collecting free shite usually took the path of least resiatence hence the under privileged excuse. I didn't have a lot growing up but never let that stop me. Military got me straight. Now I am a baller. Well maybe a little brag there.

Money is one of the last things that make me happy

Somewhere out there is a kid like me without much of anything from a good family that cares for their kids but have very hard times from year to year.
That's awesome
I have to say that if my parents ever had to struggle to raise us I never knew of it.

I know for sure I wouldn't be who I am without my own personal struggles. Don't know if that is a good thing or bad thing, but it is what it is.... Growing up I never wanted for anything. Somehow my older and younger brothers, both engineers turned out "better" than me by most metrics. Thing is I can live happy without comfort of money probably much easier than both. I've chased money before and it afforded me to do more but not neccessarily make me happy.

I was born into a successful family thankfully but it can actually make you less apt to succeed. More of my friends than not are still sucking the tit. Great parents teach value of accomplishment and how to earn your keep regardless of how much they have themselves.

Father died when I was 8 and left my mom to raise 3 boys. We used food stamps for a little while and mom started working. I have been working since 16 to help contribute. I am probably the least successful of the 3 of us and I am doing pretty good for myself.

My father took great care of our family and made sure we always had everything we needed. Not attending college was never an option in my family and with my parents support it would have been very hard for me not to be successful as an adult.

My parents raised me and my 2 brothers on 18,000 a year. I shite out of college, but they busted their arse to make sure I had every opportunity.

One of my best friend's growing up his dad was an electrical engineer (probably one of only 2 dad's in my town with college degree I knew of) and he was a tough guy on his 4 kids. Howlered and screamed at my friend and his siblings if homework wasn't done when he got home. I even got escorted out their house if he was really pissed. All his kids are engineers now and great people and the dad is on my Facebook now and I think he "likes" everything I post.
Even when my dad left I did see the value of discipline and education.

So you attribute a lot of your success to being a white male?

Having wealth does not always mean you won't have struggles. And wealth doesn't always mean money. Living thru personal struggles builds character and helps to mold you into what you choose to be. Having things handed to you usually does nothing but make you a insensitive douche.
