Would upset the apple cart. D.C. GOP power guys love to have someone like Corburn and Rand speak out about waste every now and then, mostly election season against Democrat opponents. But they sure as hell don't want him out there too much pointing out waste and vote-buying pork, because eventually that trail will lead to Republican Congressmen too many times as well.

Just think if we had a Corburn type in the Louisiana Legislature. About half of his legislative colleagues in his own party, and much of the current Executive branch, would be trying to remove him from any committees of influence.
