i don't know about "most", but the TNF game's ratings dwarfed the WS ratings

CBS and NFL Network’s broadcast of THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL on Thursday, Oct. 23, which featured Denver’s 35-21 victory over San Diego, was the highest-rated and most watched program in primetime for the week of October 20-26, 2014.

The game earned an average national (Live + Same Day) household rating/share of 12.3/21 and was seen by an average of 20.2 million viewers.
