I was kind of surprised when I saw the trailer for this movie, honestly. It just seemed like a slow paced sci fi space movie. Not that I don't enjoy those kinds of movies, it just seemed different from what we are use to seeing from Nolan. He's a very fast paced, in your face kind of story teller. He throws you right into a situation immediately. I kind of don't know what to expect. I'm interested to see how he tackles an emotionally charged visual experience.

This is understandable, considering every single frame of footage in all of the trailers is from the first 1/3 of the film. Literally nothing that occurs in the last 100 minutes of the film is shown in the trailers.
Thus, it was probably a bit difficult to create a compelling trailer for the movie, considering the fact that Nolan and the production team wanted to keep much of the plot concealed.
