Anyone noticed how no reviews have been posted today? Think maybe the critics that wanted to shite on it were first out of the gate due to the incredible word of mouth it has had, or maybe some reviewers think they need a second assessment?

I seriously doubt that.

99.9% of the time the earliest reviews are for critics the studios know are going to give it high marks.

As more and more get the chance to review a film it's average almost always goes down.

Maybe Nolan fans need to start getting ready to admit the dude is human and every movie he makes isn't going to be the bees knees.

After all, we already saw an average at best effort with Dark Knight Rises. Perhaps he has already peaked as a filmmaker?

There's no need to go into a film thinking it's infallible. There's also no need to go into a film and not expect to be amazed.

Maybe you will be, you never know. Movies are awesome.

I was kind of surprised when I saw the trailer for this movie, honestly. It just seemed like a slow paced sci fi space movie. Not that I don't enjoy those kinds of movies, it just seemed different from what we are use to seeing from Nolan. He's a very fast paced, in your face kind of story teller. He throws you right into a situation immediately. I kind of don't know what to expect. I'm interested to see how he tackles an emotionally charged visual experience.

For a little perspective, The Prestige, which I consider one of Nolan's best movies, is only 76% on RT. I was actually shocked to see that.
