Martin is playing well this year despite many on here that think he is a Welter type player. Mills is good as well. Adams and Jefferson play a lot of snaps and often three of them are in the game at the same time. Since Thomas got hurt, three safeties have been in more than before.

Generally LSU has five and sometimes 6 DBs in the game. Lamar Louis doesn't get many snaps. Collins,White, and Robinson play CB and Martin, Mills, Adams, and Jefferson play safety and nickle.

They are the DBU. Obviously LSU will lose Martin and probably Mills and maybe Collins next year.

I think between Paris, Battle, Voorhies, and the new guys plus Thomas coming back, LSU will continue that tradition for next year.

Yep.

A lot of people won't change their perspective in Martin because of last year... He had a brutal year last year, and not just with football. He's a completely different player this year. And Mills has been very blah in every game but Wisconsin. Really haven't noticed him since the Wisky game.

Our top safety tandem right now is Martin and Adams... But Mills and Jefferson get their PT as well. But you gotta love how Adams is coming on and the improvement in Martin this year.
