First off... hats off to the BIG UGLIES!!! O-line and D-line have just blown up since the beginning of this season. GEAUX TIGERS!
A blowout win is obviously the best. However, the close ones, the emotional ones, are the ones that always stay with you.
When we lose, many agree they would rather get blown out than lose a hard-fought game that you could have/should have won. It's just easier on the emotions.
However, last night we got to put BOTH on Ole Miss. For anyone other than an Ole Miss fan or someone oblivious to football, it was clearly a dominant blowout of a game for us (although the turnovers obviously kept the score from reflecting it that way). AND... because of the turnovers, Ole Miss fans had to endure the agony of watching a game they believe they could have won.
The cherry on top of it all was the way it ended... Finally getting the pick on "Bad" Bo when it absolutely mattered the most and then watching him run away like a little pansy.
