I can't believe I just watched that. 
The entire video is in a foreign language, and I'm not sure the people interviewed were "foodies". It looked like a little food expo with a mix bag of people.
Looking purely from the pictures of the food, it looked like McDonald's quality food. The tomato was not ripe and the nuggets looked awful.
As others have said, your eyes can certainly deceive you. I would be interested to see a more controlled experiment thant his particular case, in English (ideally).

The video said they told the people it was an organic alternative to fast food. So mcdonalds was the ceiling for their expectations.
