frickers need to stay off Grand Caillou road when im trying to get to work. But yeah, they do have some nice rigs...... seen one this morning with 2 mud motors and 2 powerpoles on the back of a 20-21' aluminum hull.

Don't think those are allowed, but sweet rig.

Anyone running 2 mud motors is at a disadvantage. These flat boats can get very shallow and run 2x as fast as a mud boat.

Im not saying he was fishing the tourney. He was trailering his boat on GC this road and thats where I seen it. Super nice rig.

Nice. I currently want an easy cape bay fury or vantage. But I would really take any flats boat to start.

theres good deals on thehulltruth all the time. There was a bad arse lakes and bay for sale the other day. I always said I would get one, but when it comes down to it I will probably just customize a Hanko instead.

Famous crafts can fish the islands too. I use to fish out of a hanko and it was a redfish slaying machin. Really shallow draft but it was 7'6 wide and very stable too.

It sure is pretty. Doesn't look that wide. I would fish it.

I saw on FB that a 10+ lb fish was weighed in with a jacked up tail.

C/P from Official IFA Redfish Tour Rules:

quote:

Any fish that appears to have been penned, mangled, mashed, mauled or otherwise altered will not be weighed at the discretion of the weigh master.

Pic of tail:

This would never be allowed in an HT event...
