Just to give you an example of what I might eat in a day....

This morning I had a protein shake that is 28 grams protein and 140 calories. I also brought an Amy's tamale verde and cheese microwave dinner which is four hundred calories. I like these because they are cheap, organic, and preservative free. I also have a mixed green salad with tomatoes, mushrooms, red peppers, a half cup of chickpeas, two tablespoons feta, and light vinagrette. I have three cheese sticks and three boiled eggs as well. After the gym I will have another shake and for dinner probably another salad or cook a light meal using some sort of meat substitute or a high protein low carb mung bean pasta with marinara.
