Honestly, just wear whatever you feel like wearing. It doesn't have to "match". I'd rather wear patterned, than solid pink, but if you want to do solid pink go for it.

My most "subdued" pair is the pair I'm wearing today... navy field with light blue small polka dots and heel/cuff.

I actually don't wear my more reserved socks anymore... because they're boring..
