I didn't click the link, but I think it's clear that despite what his haters parrot, Les wants Harris to eventually take over and become the starter. But unlike them--the haters--he is not willing to "take our lumps" to prepare for the future. Les wants to play for victory every game and he is going to do whatever it takes (in his opinion) to put his team in position to that every week.

I agree with the second part.
It would be a disservice to the team to "give up on the year and prepare for next year."
That being said......how do you feel its clear that Les wants Harris to take over and be the starter?

I think you're overthinking this. I think Les was calling the guy a dumb frick for asking him about the 2015 quarterback when we have four tough conference games left in 2014.
