Great response. He is basically saying "frick off dumb reporter" without actually saying "frick off dumb reporter"

I didn't click the link, but I think it's clear that despite what his haters parrot, Les wants Harris to eventually take over and become the starter. But unlike them--the haters--he is not willing to "take our lumps" to prepare for the future. Les wants to play for victory every game and he is going to do whatever it takes (in his opinion) to put his team in position to that every week.

What a dumb question by that "reporter". Appropriate response by Miles.

Les is awesome. He's getting tired of hearing about next season

I love Les' response, but all the people ragging the reporter's question need to take a step back.
When reporters interview people (especially coaches who are experts in the art of sanitized bullshite answers) a lot of times they have to reword a question that they know a coach won't answer to get the information they need.
In this example, the reporter wants to know "who are you grooming to be the QB of the future," but he asks a more general question in hopes that Les gives him something to work with. Thus, the question isn't as dumb as you people are trying to make it out to be.
It's interesting that as a society we crave information, yet we so disrespect the facilitators of that information.

What a terrible question

I wonder if that was premeditated, because that was pure gold..
