Also - should point out this guy wouldn't have even been allowed to fly home under the let's cancel all flights inbound from west Africa plan.
Why does the Administration object so strenuously to quarantine policy exactly like this one?

This nation does a lot of much bigger stuff that's not our responsibility, do you oppose all of that stuff too. Do you think W was wrong to help Africa fight AIDS because it's "not our responsibility"?

That's not what I said and you know it!!!
I was talking about sick West Africans coming into the U.S. for care.
I support helping the West Africans fight this disease. So, go back and reread what I was talking about TrackFan
ETA: What Bush did for Aids is his greatest legacy. Nobody has done more than W for Africa.

Reread what I said. I'm not talking about allowing sick west Africans to come here, I'm talking about healthy west Africans who have been quarantined for three weeks before their arrival.

Texas Presbiterian proved that regular hospitals are not equipped to handle ebola cases. I also suspect that they moved those nurses out to other facilities because they expect more cases in the near future.
I really think the statement should be taht presby hospital demonstrated that the cdcs recommendations for PPE when taking care of ebola patients were ridiculous.
I mean seriously comic book cartoon stupid. The gear they sent these people into the treat this patient with was totally laughable.
is how MSF dress.
This is cdcs recommendations...
The freaking politicians in the cdc who allowed those recommendations to be released should be sent over to treat patients in liberia with the PPE they recommended.

You grabbed my comment to make your point.
Which is not what I said, okay?
My comment was strictly about West Africans coming to the states. So, if you grab that statement and manipulate it then I will correct you TrackFan. No disrespect. I see your point, but I don't want you to think I don't appreciate the value in Americans trying to help. Those people are incredibly brave and deserve our healthcare system if infected. They shouldn't die rotting in Liberia.

Ebola downvoted you.
Also, University of Texas just sent out a letter to all students that one kid there also is experiencing symptoms and that he has been self-quarantined (whatever that means).

Bringing sick immigrants or people infected with visas into the states for treatment. Our efforts are too remain in West Africa. Only US citizens should have access to our healthcare system.
