Some teenage kid stole a GPS from us one time. We figured it was gone forever until the police showed up to return it one day out of the blue. How did they know it was ours? The little dumbass who stole it didnt know our address was plugged into it as "Home".

Hurr, dee durr, durr.
Really people? You enter "Home" into a GPS or allow the GPS to assign the default "Home" for you?
A thief steals your car with a GPS carrying this information from an airport or hospital parking lot. The thief now sees "Home" as a place he/she knows you will absolutely positively NOT be because your car was at the Airport or Hospital. Where do you think the thief will now go? Or, at least call an associate and share this information.
DO NOT HAVE YOUR LEGITIMATE HOME ADDRESS ENTERED INTO YOUR GPS AS YOUR "HOME" ADDRESS!
