i've got a moultie trail camera that someone gave me. it is taking pictures but seems to be really slow. i've got a corn pile that keeps getting smaller but never get a pic of the animals eating. any advice/help?

The camera isn't the problem. The invisible Swoopeda on your property is.

Moultrie is not the greatest camera out there by a long shot. I've always had problems with them. And think... someone just gave it away
Go and get the $99 Stealth Cam or $80 Wildgame Innovations. Fantastic cams

In my experience Wildgame Innovation is absolute junk. I have 5 moultries and they all work fine. The older ones have a slow shutter speed so sometimes a deer can move clear across the field of view before it triggers the camera and the camera actually takes the picture. The newer ones are faster.

I've never had luck with wild game. They only work for part of one season for me. We switched to moultrie and have had luck. The best camera we have found is the new Brownings. We started getting these this year and they seem to work really well.

We have had pretty good luck with Primos cameras. The way I see it, anything that costs $200 or less and lasts 3 years or more is worth it. One of these days I will buy a Reconyx for $500 but I just can't justify it right now. I have heard they last close to 10 years.

All I buy these days are the Wildgame Innovations cameras for under $100. They work extremely well.

The Primos cameras are nice, but they take photos of absolutely everything.
I bought a Moultrie for the first time this year and have not been happy with it. I'll be going back to Wildgame Innovations.

i plug the camera into my computer with a cable. it takes pics but most of the time there isn't anything in it. i guessing SLOW shutter speed.

I noticed the other day that my camera would have 300 pics but sticking the card in a digital camera and they wouldnt show up. Put it on a computer and the pics were in different folders and the camera would only read certain ones.

LINK
I ran across this link recently when I was looking to get a few cameras.
Ended up getting a few of the Browning Range ops for about 90 on amazon. Got good reviews.
