My wife didn't like the ending but I like the twist it ended on. Its a horror movie for crying out loud. frick that happy feel good shite.

Exactly. If it's a horror movie, make it a horror movie. That was my biggest problem with The Conjuring. Nobody even died. For horror, give me twists and dread.
