No shite. That's why Superman is a terrible superhero. Your problem with the movie is inherent to the character. He is a god-like character. Everyone knows this. How you can claim to know a lot about the character and then can even feign surprise is nonsensical.

Remembering your posts, so sorry to hear that you're pretty one sided as a comic book fan. It's amazing how you can see everything that makes Batman great and completely write off Superman. Almost all comic book fans and experts see what makes both Superman and Batman great individually and when they're a team and acknowledge that.
