IMO, making sure that hospitals can properly train their staff to handle any individual Ebola patient >>>>> Stopping people infected with Ebola from traveling to US.

If we properly treated this guy we could all start talking about something else by Monday. Even though he was sent out of the ER with Ebola the infections occurred after he was admitted because the hospital couldn't handle it.

Why can't we do both? And the latter will take effect much faster than the former.

Seriously, what is the downside to restricting travel? Certainly it would have prevented Pham and Vinson's infections, wouldn't you agree?
