There was another thread on Glen back when he first was moved into a facility.

A poster there said that maybe ALS is worse. Wasting away with a keen mind.

But it just seems so sad that you can wake up for years possibly and not know a thing. The family really suffers with this one.

Sorry for your loss, hope I never have a love one go through it.

Worst day of my life was when I was talking to my Dad and I realized he had no idea who I was.

That and ALS. I'd say ALS may be a bit more crueler because you're in a prison of your own body. Either way, both are horrible.
