You call me stupid and then say this:

quote:

Yugoslavia broke for one reason and it was the Serbs. The whole situation started with unrest in Kosovo and then it trickled down from Slovenia, to Croatia, to Bosnia. Why? Because everyone was tired of Serbian rule. Every where you looked a Serb was positioned at the top. In the police departments, government offices, factories, etc. Hell, even all of Yugoslavia's weaponry was stockplied in the Serb capital. Which was a big reason for their early success in the war. Not to mention Serbia was the main culprit with funding and supporting Croatian and Bosnian Serbs to carry out their agenda of a Great Serbia. Too bad they didn't realize and eradicate the Albanian and Muslim disease that was brewing within their own country. Now it is shrinking to a teacup Serbia.

That's some weapons-grade propaganda mixed with a bit of crazy there

Btw, where are all these Croat partisans coming from?

Some of it is truth. The Serbs were ruthless when put in charge.

Those folks have hated each other for eons. They played nice under Tito but when he died in 1980 things went down hill. Belgrade consolidated power and basically tried to run each republic from there, obviously pissing off the locals. The Slovenes got off easy, in part because they were furthest from Serbia and partly because the local defense forces had a shadow military organization for just that eventuality. The Serbs made a showing that they would use force but after a few decisive Slovene victories it became apparent that there were bigger fish to fry.

I can't speak to the anti-Muslim sentiment in Serbia, but I do know they are also not too fond of jews, so at least they are equal opportunity haters?

The Ustase (Croation nationalist/quasi-catholic facist leadership) in WW2 sure as hell didn't help matters for the Croats.
