People were crowning this as the best D-Line in football.

We are tied for 29th with Arizona with 6 sacks.
Oakland is second to last with 5 sacks.

For perspective, they had 15 through 5 games in 2012 and 11 through 5 games last year.

They do have 3 interceptions and 4 fumble recoveries though. (interesting thing is we have forced more fumbles than them, we just aren't recovering them.)

They could have 15 sacks and the answer would be NO.

I liked GW while he was here.
Then he seemed to have made a deal with the devil himself...

So now I give less than a sh!t about what he's doing or where.

yes,

how many turnovers do we have? What about them?

Gregg also made our offense better. Those practices were intense...you never hear about it getting chippy since he left

I'd love to have him back for one more run

You sure about that?

During practice Ingram destroyed Victor Butler's career here, and Vaccaro was known to hit harder than people liked in practice.

We have to accept that 2009 was a fluke year for turnovers with GW. They dropped dramatically over the next two years, making us in the minus in turnover ratio (Drew's 22 int's in 2010 didn't help, however)

So it's not like that would be an instant fix.

We finished 31st in takeaways in 2011 and 20th in 2010. 2009 was an outlier

Williams did what Ryan has done here. One really good year of our D playing out of their minds. Both quickly fell from the sky though. I would love somebody with some consistent solid play.

Lulz each one of Gregg Williams seasons was better than anyone else under Payton. Playoff every year and a superbowl victory.

People who hate on him and get upset about Bounty gate and the lack of evidence in the same breathe are hilarious hypocritical morons.

I'd live with the lack of turnovers right now if this defense would quit getting gashed and create some pressure.

Bounty gate isn't even an issue for me with him. It's how painfully predictable he got with is blitzes, and San Fran 2011.
