If the defense doesn't improve..

A. Does Miles fire him?

B. What options are out there to replace him?

It will be the first time in his tenure at LSU that this has happened.

i would hope not.

Chavis deserves another year to fix the issues. He's shown that he can improve.

Miles will not fire him. He will let Chavis stay no matter how bad the defense becomes until either Chavis retires or another program is desperate enough to hire him. That is Miles' history with his staff.

Y'all are really going full tard if you want to fire Chavis.

But like I've said before. If you want to do it, please wait until our DC spot opens up. You'd be doing us a solid. And let's face it, you owe us.

By the way, talking about LSU, UT, and Chavis with a guy named DerekDooley makes me want to puke after reliving the 2010 Nightmare. Thanks for that, Doolander.

Don't think he needs to be fired, he's earned the right to have more time. Anyone will struggle losing all that talent early. However, I think this is the time to consider switching to 3-4 D scheme.
