In your personal opinion which one would you say was more talented?

Hard to compare

Elvis was an absolute phenomenon.

Pure talent I'd go with Michael. Shame he was crazy.

I don't think its is fair to either artist to compare their talents.

Americans traditionally love to fight. All real Americans love the sting of battle. When you were kids, you all admired the champion marble shooter, the fastest runner, big league ball players, the toughest boxers. Americans love a winner and will not tolerate a loser. Americans play to win all the time. I wouldn't give a hoot in hell for a man who lost and laughed. That's why Americans have never lost and will never lose a war.

Keanu Reeves stars in movies too. Doesn't equate to talent.

I agree that they are so individually unique and hard to compare against each other..

That said, IMO, Jackson had more talent across the board... EP, was more my speed and may have had a bigger impact on pop culture (maybe not)..

MJ v Prince may be a better talent argument, since they were contemporaries.. if you're into that kind of thing..

Could MJ even play an instrument?

he could play a few, but I don't believe at the competency of someone like prince (I think he was pretty modest in this regard and say that he couldn't really play)... he never did live, to my knowledge

Elvis was at least a decent guitar and piano player. Not great, by any means, but competent.

Quite the comparsion. Prince is one of the best multi-instrumentalists ever.
