He completed more than Harris Saturday.

he completed two more passes than harris (5 vs 3) and didn't put a single point on the board.

harris had some terrible throws. he said it at the post game interview. he'll get better.

however, if he's hurt, you have to start jennings. no sense in hurting harris' ankle even more against UF.

well especially since all miles wants to do is run up the middle. they could put kragthorpe out there and run those plays.

I would rather play Harris the rest of the season and let him grow up. Yes, he played terrible Saturday night, but he has a ton of talent and a high ceiling.

When Harris has a bad game he looks like Jennings playing average, they both throw long when uncomfortable. If Harris gets comfortable he is lights out better than Jennings.

Harris is a gamer...I think that he needed to get his first start out of the way...He now knows what a hostile environment feels like... He will be ready for Florida...How about we get him some confidence early by letting him throw some short passes. Or maybe we can run nine plays in a row and then attempt to pass. I know that Les is a college football coach and he is he expert that I will never be, but I did not understand his play calling. Sometimes you have to play to win as opposed to playing not to lose.

The worse thing we can do is judge Harris on this one game. There was so much intrigue going into the game- speculation, expectation, some even inquiring whether it was too late for him to win the Heisman, national TV, very hostile environment, veteran opponent coming off BCS title game,, media blitz, etc.

There won't be much of that Saturday as two once powerful programs try to take a step back to national ranking. The Swamp will be more like a pond on Saturday. Lets give Harris a few starts and some experiences on the road and at home before we begin to make broad assumptions. If Jennings is the man for whatever reason lets give him full support. Even if you think you are booing Miles you are doing nothing to help this young man who is playing as hard as he can and wants to be successful.

Precautionary. The team doctor has every size in his car alone, I can only imagine what they have at the facilities. I would bet they have a boot for each of these guys custom designed for each foot before the season begins.
