I saw they have bangers, fish and chips and shepherd pie for happy hour at cheap rates. I may give that a shot, since the bar is in walking distance.

There's an old cookbook from a Chackbay church sale that has a good redfish courtbouillon recipe. I tend to follow that one.

For the shrimp, the way I've done it:

Melted butter
Lea & Perrins
Minced garlic
White wine
Cayenne pepper
Basil, oregano and parsley

Stick in the oven at 325-375. Serve with lots of French bread.
