When I lived in BR, there was really no place that sold vinyl like Atomic Pop and now Lagniappe... well, maybe Honeymoon Bungalow did... Euclid is very good in NOLA.. I gotta be in the right state of mind to go in with the intent to just comb through the bins...

When I travel around the country, I always enjoy going to various record stores... have had some great finds over the years..

Ive had friends that have scored the mother lode at estate sales, I have not been as fortunate...

One of the best steals I ever got was in Daphne, AL at a place called Bay Sound. One of the greatest, most unorganized record store I have ever seen. The guy literally has thousands of the most random records just in piles under the organized sections.

For $1.99 a piece I got:

Elton John - Goodbye Yellow Brick Road
The Beatles - Yellow Submarine
Peter Frampton - Hampton Comes Alive
America - America's Greatest Hits
Fleetwood Mac - Rumors
Fleetwood Mac - Fleetwood Mac

and a couple others I can't remember
