Agree totally. I don't know what the writers are thinking but its absurd.

I thought it was pretty good. The first time I saw it I was pissed because they kept cutting away from the Godzilla fights. They would lead up to this awesome showdown and then cut away from it. The final fight was good, but by then I was so pissed about the missed opportunities.
