Oh man. this is stupid. North of I10. The OLD bluebonnet road DOES have houses touching it. The re-routed Bluebonnet Blvd does not. The new Blvd isn't residential. Sad but true. fricking lawyers.
Interesting. He makes a general statement saying bluebonnet isnt residential. We prove him wrong, and he says we are the ones we dont know what we are talking about.

It wasn't general if you followed the conversation. Stop putting it in a vacuum.

I think it was just a misunderstanding. He's a bit of a pompous fricker but the general argument for the speed change is indisputable. They suck dicks for it. But oh well. I'm happy it's widened but I can definitely see MANY of my friends getting tickets on it for going 50.

Because people will speed on this road because you don't feel like you are speeding going 50. No amount of signs will stop that. So you have people going 35 and people going 50, bad shite happens. A safe road is a raod where everyone wants to go the same speed.
Its not about going 35 vs going 45. Its about hte limit being 35 vs 45...
People will go 50 on this road whether the limit is 35 or 45 cause 50 feels reasonable. I catch myself going 50 all the time on it by accident not even trying to go fast for any reason.

Oh look, it's deflection man that still hasn't answered the original question and is now acting pompous.

Funny sidenote. When that Highland expansion was finally complete, I was doing 40 on it and got smoked by a EBR cop going about 60. I was like "WTF you a-hole" right as I saw the new speed limit. 55mph on that stretch is too FAST IMO.

And all I'm saying is the road would be safer if the speed limit and the speed in which people will drive it are closer. I try my best to go 35 but that is a crawl on a road that looks and feels like Staring.

It was general when you stated it universally in response to a three point paragraph.
It's not our fault you aren't clear.

It is your fault you can't follow a conversation where we clearly were talking about bluebonnet from 10 to jefferson.

You can't understand the answer I provided using YOUR logic...
What's that say about your logic?

How is applying context putting it in a vacuum?

quote:You're right...but back to the point about how the road is classified...it can't be an interstate if it's classified as a collector road in the plans.
And all I'm saying is the road would be safer if the speed limit and the speed in which people will drive it are closer. I try my best to go 35 but that is a crawl on a road that looks and feels like Staring.

Kinda hard to be clear when you make such a general and definitive states such as "Bluebonnet isnt residential"

It says you can't simply answer a question so you'll keep deflecting until the other person gets tired of repeating themselves. Then you'll claim superiority even though all you've done is basically nothing.

For the area being talked about that was quoted directly above my statement.

Oh I followed it. You didn't. And cried when you were called out, then tried to save yourself.
