The Dallas Stars organization is full of trolls, and I love it.

I went on Facebook and commented on some of their moves, then someone using their official account called me a troll.

When they called my SO later to ask if we were buying tickets, I emailed the person who called, and told her what happened.

The next day I got a half-assed "apology" from the person who did it, but telling me that I needed to lighten up.

It's one thing for someone to insult another on the Internet, but to use the official account of a sports organization to do so?

They've lost me and my SO as fans. And we'd go to 2-3 games a year.

BTW they'd better not insult too many people wearing the other teams' herseys--that's 1/3 of their attendance.

Fine, you're using an anonymous name. Not "Official Dallas Stars".

Would your employer want you to use company email to insult customers?

Wait up. So you made some comments on their FB page and they called your SO to see if ya'll are buying tickets? Why would they do that? Did they get her name and phone number from her FB page or did they just happen to have her info in their system and them calling her had nothing to do with your comments?

I don't really like hockey too much, but I would definitely attend a Dallas Stars game after seeing this thread. That shite is great.

Most likely just a coincidence. When you do comment on their social media sites, their system does take your information and input it into their computers. We do the same thing here with the Hornets

Out of curiosity, what moves were you commenting on and what did you say?

Stars twitter is also awesome, they regularly takes swipes at opposing fans who tweet at the account during games.

For whatever reason, the Cowboys twitter account decided to take a shot at the Stars a year ago, posting

The Stars immediately returned fire.

First, you are a troll. Even your story about being unfairly being called a troll ENDS WITH YOU ACTING LIKE A TROLL. So, props to the stars for calling it like they see it.

Secondly, almost all of a hockey twitter is like that. The Kings account is famously sarcastic. So, yeah, you do need to lighten up.

Third, aren't you the guy always saying the Stars are moving? It's impossible to talk about the Stars here without you talking about how the ownership is trying to drive down attendance and leave the city (a theory which has proven to be hilariously false -- the Stars ave improved immensely under new ownership)

Finally, I'm sure they will miss the revenue from the four tickets your purchase each year. How will they survive without you?
