Tacky looking truck. It will sell in large quantities I'm sure.
All trucks seem to get progressively uglier with every design. It's as if a committee of people who don't own or use trucks are charged with styling a product that they think truck owners want. It ends up being like a caricature of a truck.
In this case, it's a cross between other design by committee insecurity mobiles from Chevrolet (Silverado) and Toyota (Tundra).

I really like the KR that was posted.
The first one looks like an XLT. They've always had big black plastic grilles. The shape of headlights and grille though I think is an improvement over the previous body style. Looks sharp.

It's a styling element. Having a large vertical element of the grille in a single color like that makes the front appear taller and more imposing.
It would be significantly uglier if the body color wrapped through the bumper.

I'm not a fan of ford trucks (chevy all the way), but it doesn't look terrible. The last body style looks a lot better IMO.
