We've had a lack of deep threat since Devery left and our interior line play has declined. It makes it harder for Brees to step up and let it rip this year, especially when teams are playing cover 3 and can get pressure with their front 4

He throws a lot of high percentage short passes, stuff that the defense gives the offense for the most part. Look at Cooks he has a lot of catches but they are only going for 7yds a pop. Where are the big plays downfield?

when his backup running back has 74 receptions that's not that hard to accomplish

When I said its been in decline for years what I mean is that it has been noticeable on certain throws

everything the saints do on offense is in front of the defense. No threat down field except a few jump balls to JG
