Damn right it is. They pay providers shite. Here BCBS gives me about $89 for a 99213 office visit. That's the most common. Medicaid? $37 and they tend to be less desirable, less compliant, sicker pts. Medicare pays $67. Oh and they only get 12 visits per year and 3 meds per month unless you fill out a form to get them 6, but they have to be six long term meds. And they will fricking deny everything they can AFTER the care is given. BUT....they pay specialist damn good for procedures and they are the best paying insurance for pharmacies.

Pay us a decent amount and we'll take some. Or I can see one easy, "good" BCBS pt for what I can get for 3 medicaids and have a much wider array of treatment options. Medicaid is shite insurance.
