Don't know about power steering on a ranger but it's great on a 4 wheeler. Nice looking ride you got

Nice!
Rode around a place Sunday in one of those. We had 6 adults, a big 14 yr old and 3 kids under 7 piled up in it.

OP, nice ranger congrats !

Towards lachessie's reply, most of those axles were aftermarket axles. And those babies aren't cheap.

I'd be interested in knowing the age and hours/miles on your friend's Rangers that have have broken axles.

The electric bikes were brand new. The others were less then a year old, one broke one in the first month. None of them have been abused by any stretch of the imagination. Their breaking aftermarket axles as well as stock.

Late to the party, but I have a 800 with power steering. Had another off brand prior to it without and it's night and day especially on trails. Now is it worth 2500, prob not but looks as you made a good decision

I have had both axles replaced on mine but I did some crazy shite with it that normal people probably wouldn't. I have a shite ton at work that operators use and abuse daily. They have issues on the older models because of the way they are treated/maintained but the axels aren't one of them.
