Hear your frustration... but Les is focused on his team and a lot does go on "behind the scenes" as you say.
As for his pay.... his results are top notch --- yet he's paid less than some SEC "new hires".
Let's see if UT, UK, OM, Auburn and aTm get their money's worth over a 10 year period, then judge.
Let's say - just for argument's sake -- we go 8-4 this year, then 11-1 and into the playoff and play for the championship next year. Was there any "failure"? It's in the eyes of the evaluator... to my eyes, we can go 11 - 1 or 7 - 5 this year ---- how Les, his coaches and the players handle the rest of the way determines that.
Either way I'll be watching and cheering FOR LSU -- not against our coach, bashing our players or otherwise sending out a negative vibe about the team like so many seem to want to do.

Unless there is a significant talent upgrade at a few positions that are currently known to be weak spots, much better coaching/game planning against top opponents, and upgraded play from some guys who would be returning the 11-1 won't come close to realization, so why use it in a supposed argument?

So what was negative? I was encouraging Les to maximize the talents of THIS YEAR'S team. I believe the effort against MSU was NOT our best, do you?
