The link to get to those numbers from the FBI website says that it is crime data reported from city agency.
If you look under crime reported by state, tribal or other, they list 36 murders in Ct but don't give the city they occurred in.
So this could just be a case where the Ct state police submitted the data for Sandy Hook.

Honestly, it had never occurred to me until I saw CptBengal's stupidity in this thread that there might be a body of deniers out there claiming Sandy Hook was a hoax. Silly me for not expecting the kookery.
Apparently, it exceeds the mental powers of someone like CptBengal that if the government were to perpetrate such an elaborate hoax that a column on a spreadsheet would be the easiest thing to falsify.
