After my run in with the Brown Widow the other day, I feel like someone has it out for me.

Tried to kill it with fire, but it went into the bricks.

It is the brown banded coral, they are never alone. Once they infest a place they are almost impossible o get rid of. They are also deadly poison with no known anti-venom, you are probably doomed or maybe not it could also be a harmless rat snake

That's a Juvenile Texas Rat Snake. Very common, not poisonous, and good for rodent extermination.
