In your honest opinion, how does LSU's campus compare to other SEC campuses?

I know this is a site full of LSU homers, but try to be objective on this one.
How does LSU's campus compare to that of other SEC schools? I'm asking this honestly, because I'm realizing that the only SEC campuses that I've actually visited (outside of football stadiums) are UGA and Ole Miss, so my frame of reference is very small.
I've seen pictures of schools like Alabama and Arkansas, and the pictures look very nice. However, you can take pictures of the best parts of any school and make it look great.
I do like the LSU campus, but it would be shortsighted to not admit that many of the buildings are old and could use a revamp.
What do you think?

Love LSU but Bama, Auburn, and Tennessee were nicer IMO. Still better than A&M. Haven't been to the others

Not SEC, but I once saw a pic of the Oklahoma quad, and it looked like an especially ugly 1950s high school
So at the very least LSU is not the ugliest campus in the country...
Too bad LSU added all those inappropriate modern buildings in the '60s and '70s

I have been to a good number of them and can say that it is probably in the top half...the oak trees and styling of the buildings make it one of the prettiest, IMO...however, others are really nice too...
Miss st doesn't have as grand a look, but the landscaping is just beautiful...
Ole Miss and UF do have some nice, big trees and traditional styled buildings, so they are comparable to LSU...
I used to actually be a bit ashamed of our stadium in comparison to the others, but that has been fixed with the upgrades...

I love the aesthetics of the uneven sidewalks

A&M - the campus feels more like a city than it does a campus, but it has to be that big to fit all of their students. Been to their student rec, and it absolutely blows LSU's out of the water.
Ole Miss - smaller school, and a more modest campus to match. The Grove speaks for itself. Their Student Union looks like a carbon copy of LSU's. I had a great experience visiting here.
Arkansas - been a while since I've visited, but it's still my favorite college campus (that I've visited). The only campus I can think of (Tennessee?) that would be so close to mountains, which adds to the scenery.
With that said, I think LSU still compares rather favorably!

Of the schools I have visited: Florida, bama, auburn, texas a&m, Tennessee, Mississippi state, Georgia, ole miss, and vandy...LSU is top 3 with UGA and UT. Bama is nice. Auburn and ole miss are overrated. Gainesville is

I have spent time or at least have been on all of the SEC college campuses with the exception of the University of Florida, and I would say that LSU compares VERY favorably and is arguably the prettiest of the campuses that I have seen. I love the look of our campus.
On the other hand, when one looks at facilities and condition of buildings, we do not fare nearly as well. There are some really old buildings on LSU's campus that have not been renovated and/or properly maintained, and in some cases these are spots with wonderful traditions that are likely to be lost forever. (The Huey Long Field House, particularly with the old swimming pool, is a perfect example.) Years of under-funding compared to some of our SEC peers have taken its toll on the campus and have left us about average in terms of functionality and maintenance, but I would still put our campus right up there for its beauty.

Some of the buildings definitely need a revamp. One that comes to mind is Howe-Russell. Would be nice if everything looked like the Business College Quad, but honestly I like the diversity LSU offers. Very beautiful campus imo

UGA, Bama and LSU are nice.
Auburn and Vandy are ok.
Kentucky is meh.
Moo St is a craphole.
That's all I got.

I like Auburn and Georgia's campuses best.
Alabama's is very solid too. Maybe a little nicer than LSU.
Either LSU or Ole Miss is 4th for me, and I've been to a lot of campuses. Florida is too spread out. Tennessee is spread out and hilly AF.
South Carolina is the only campus I haven't been to.

I've been to quite a few and really like UGA, LSU, Ole Miss, & Alabama. There's some sections of campus that could be revamped/torn down but ours is definitely top tier.

I can only name the ones I've been to, and I haven't seen every part of each campus, so this is not a perfect list.
Tier 1
Georgia - I'm very confident putting this number one. Absolutely gorgeous.
Tier 2
Vanderbilt - very pretty, small campus.
Tier 2
LSU
Tennessee
Auburn
Florida
Alabama
Tier 3
Texas A&M

Besides LSU's, I've only been to 4 other SEC campuses for Game Day experience.
Those 4 being UF, Georgia, Miss St and Vandy. Although I love LSU, I must UF is right on par if not better. Georgia was pretty damn good as well and I think Miss St is very underrated. If I had to make a list it would be
UF
LSU
GEORGIA
MISS ST
VANDY
Just my personal opinion though.
I'm also interested in trying out schools like TAMU, OLE MISS and Bama in the near future.

LSU's is right up there with UGA, Bama, and UF, which were my favorites. Ole Miss and State were nice, but not as nice. I was not impressed with Auburn.
Never been to Knoxville, Vanderbilt, Lexington, or Fayetteville. Couldn't get a good frame of reference on USC-Columbia to form an opinion.
Of the Non-SEC campuses that I've seen, UT-Austin and FSU were nice, but I like LSU better. UCLA is gorgeous. So is USC. Both were nicer than LSU.

I think Alabama's campus is nicer than y'all's, but y'all are definitely nicer than Arky's.
If I had to rank the campus' I've been to:
1) Ole Miss
2) Georgia
3) Alabama
4) LSU
5) Vandy
6) Auburn
7) Arky
8) State

The thing is that the LSU campus was built by the Kingfish in the 1930s to make room for his state capitol, so none of the campus is actually that old. The parts of other campuses from the 1800s are pretty gorgeous, and LSU doesn't have any of that. BUT I think the newer parts of LSU blow other campuses out of the water. Have you seen the newer buildings of Ole Piss?

I think that some parts of our campus would put us at the top of the list, and other parts of our campus would put us at the bottom.
I really wish they had kept a uniform look rather than having a piecemeal architecture style for the campus. The areas around the parade grounds and quad are top notch, IMO.
I really liked Auburn's campus when I visited.

I've been to all of em cept Arkansas, most several times. Live Oaks and Italian Renaissance look put it right up there if not the top. Lack of repair, Middleton, and that abortion of a new Business building are big negatives.
Bama and auburn always strike me as very cookie cutter. Trees in Bama seem to be mostly ugly arse pines.
ETA: Bamas quad is very nice.
I like UGA
And I've always felt very comfortable walking around Gainseville campus, it has a very homey feel about it if that makes any sense.
